- Take the Chana Dal and soak in water for 5-6 hours.Now grind in Mixy without water till coarse.Now add Milk and cook in steam for 10 minutes
- Heat the oil and add mustard seeds and Whole jeera,pinch of Hing,sesame seeds,ginger,chilli and garlic pastes,Turmeric powder, 1 tbsp Grated coconut.Mix it nicely.
- Now add the steamed dal.Now add Salt,sugar and lemon juice and cook on a slow flame for 5 minutes.It should be loose and separate and not lumpy.Alter per taste
- Now add Fresh Coriander and the other fresh coriander and some red chillies (Leave some for garnishing) mix well.Now it's ready and in a serving plate sprinkle some Sev,pomegranate seeds,Fresh coriander,some grated coconut and if you want sprinkle green chutney.
