- Mix active dry yeast and sugar. Add warm milk into it and allow the yeast to bloom. When the yeast mixture starts to bubble add melted butter and egg yolk into it and combine well.
- Sieve in flour and salt into a large bowl and add the well combined wet ingredients into it. Mix it with a spatula combine by gently kneading.
- Dust a flat surface with flour and knead the dough for 10 minutes. Transfer it into a bowl and cover it with kitchen towel and let it double the size. This will take an hour.

- Start braiding the bread, by keeping the layered portion Open on the top. Pinch the ends together to form a ring shape. Sprinkle more nuts, if needed. And let it sit for 15-20 minutes for a second rise.
- Preparing the coating : mix together the melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Brush it over the prepared bread ring.
- Pre-heat oven at 400F. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Take it out of the oven. Let it cool and enjoy !
